The hearing for Sundiata Acoli’s parole argument happened Wednesday May 28th in New Jersey’s Appellate Court. It was in response to the New Jersey state parole board’s continued denial of Sundiata’s release after serving 40 years in prison and completing his sentence.
The hearing was open to the public. The panel of three judges will provide a decision in about three weeks. As soon as we hear anything, we will update folks. We ask everyone to keep Sundiata in their thoughts and prayers until then.
